The Midfield Community Center is a complete indoor recreational facility that contains a large two-court gym, a weight room with exercise equipment, steam room, sauna, and showers. There is a mat room for martial arts and gymnastics, two class rooms, and conference rooms that can be rented out to residents for teas, showers, and small reunions or parties.

The Community Center hours are Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 to 9:00, Friday from 10:00 to 6:00, and Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00.

Eligibility

Membership: The gym, fitness area, and tennis courts are reserved for members and their guests only. Facilities rental privileges are also reserved for members only.

  1. Only Residents of Midfield are eligible for membership cards. Membership is free, but there is a $2.00 issuance fee for each pictured and laminated card. Duplicate cards to replace current cards that have been lost or stolen are $3.00

  2. Residents who have the City garbage fee in their name need only to bring pictured identification to get their cards. New residents will need to bring a piece of official mail showing name, address, and current date to the Community Center office. Grown children or adults other than spouse living in household will need separate verification.
Guests: Resident heads of households with current I.D. card in possession may bring and sign in guests on the register.

  1. There is a $3.00 admission fee for all guests using the gym or fitness area.

  2. The number of guests permitted per member will depend on the availability of space (highly seasonal).
Programs

A diversified slate of recreational programs and activities is offered. Some of these are ongoing, some are seasonal, but all are listed on the semi-annual Park and Recreation Department calendar that is mailed out to every home in Midfield twice a year.
